You Can't Catch Me...I'm the Gingerbread Man!

"Let me show you how this is done, Emma".

"Are you sure about this, Kate"

"Yes Emma, a good cook doesn't mind getting her hands dirty...or her nose"

Lights Before Christmas at Riverbanks Zoo

You want me to do what?

Our favorite animal!

Nanny was taking care of Ben on the way home!

Choo-Choo!

Yummy!

This was our first marshmallow roast and Murphy's too (at age sixteen)! Thank goodness Nanny was there...she roasted them to perfection. Murphy was quite the aggressive roaster. Let's just say they were "well done."

The Polar Express

Will's View of the Santa Express:
"Usually, they pay me to ride trains. Today, I'm paying to ride and waking up at 7:00am after getting off a train at 2:30 am. All of this, to ride a train that travels about seven miles in two hours."
Kate, Emma, and Ben's View of Daddy:
"Wow, he must love us!"

We thought he looked like the conductor on the Polar Express!

Ben's 1st visit with Santa!

Jeanie and Van came along for the frigid ride!

This was at the SC Railroad Museum in Winnsboro, SC. We watched the Polar Express the night before and were all very excited to take a ride on the Santa Express!

The Lake House

Kate has already found the #1 hiding place at Wateree!

It's Potty Time....or Story Time?

I thought this was a man thing. Dr. Floyd gave the girls a book about fairies and apparently it makes great potty lit!

Emma is doing a great job with potty training!

The question was, "Do you want to pee-pee in the potty?"

My goal was to potty train them while on maternity leave. I think I'm only going to reach 50% of that goal. By the way, we don't typically keep a potty in the den, but whatever works for them right now, works for me!
