Mommy's Getting Brave

We've had outings with extra help and we've been on trips to grandparents' houses where we knew we had help waiting. This evening was my first adventure out alone with all three to simply get out of the house. Where did we go?...Target, of course...and everyone was well behaved. Whew!

Sweet Dreams

I think Magnum loves Ben as much as the rest of us. They love to nap together.

Spagetti Anyone?

More mealtime fun with the Carter toddler twins! And, yes this is Kate again...peeping through her garlic toast...maybe she's going to be the "artistic one".

Something Seems Fishy

Mealtime with two-year olds can get very interesting. I had to leave the table for a few minutes to get Ben down for a nap. When I came back downstairs this is what I found. Keep in mind, my children usually snack throughout the day and eat like little birds at mealtime. For a brief moment, I was flattered and thought wow, she really liked my pork tenderloin. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure Magnum had a full tummy after supper! The "cleaned" plate was Kate's. I asked, "Kate, did you eat it all?" She was at least honest in her reply..."No, Magnum".

The Florence Pecan Festival

This weekend we went to the Pecan Festival with Nanny. They had a good time playing games, people watching, and they really enjoyed their first funnel cake. I must say I did too. Ben didn't make a peep the entire time. Emma was a little under the weather from Halloween night, but had a great time. They loved their American flags until we lost one and fought over the other one for the next several hours...what patriotism!

Happy Halloween!

My sweet little fairies loved trick or treating, but it was really cold and we paid for it this week. First Emma awoke with a cold the next morning. By Monday Will was literally the last man standing. Maybe he'll escape the dreaded cold (for Mommy's sake).

Ben was Casper the ghost, but he wouldn't wear his hat for the photo.
