New Arrival: Pearly Whites!

Ben has been working very hard this week on his new tooth. His second will make its debut this week I think. He seems very proud to show off his new pearly white tooth!

Hanging out with Mimi

What a load! I thought I was the only one crazy enough to take three kids and a dog on a walk.

Our New Favorite Pastime

I can thank Aunt Murphy for this one...texting. Can you believe it...at two years old. They think every cell phone, calculator, or iPod is a "texter" and actually tell me they are texting various people, usually "Mur". It is actually kind of cute now. Check with me again during their teenage years. By then, they will probably have some sort of totally obnoxious, continuous cell phone device plugged into their ears or something!

Our Second Trip to Edventure with Mimi & Allie-Boo

They had lots of fun with Mimi and Allie-Boo and wanted to go back to Mimi's house as soon as they got home.

Penguins seem to be their favorite animal...go figure.

The Big Sister

Emma is the ultimate Big Sister! Ben was sick and requiring a little extra attention today. I asked Emma if he could hang out with her on the couch while I did dishes and you can see how happy she was to oblige.
She is smitten with him. She talks to him, holds his hands, kisses him, hugs him, smiles at him, plays with him, communicates his every need to me....I think you get the picture. She says, "I love you so much", "You are so precious", "He is so cute and tiny", "That's my Baby Ben", etc. etc. When I tell her to give him some space, her reply is always, "But I love him! She truly does love him and I think if allowed she would "love" him all of the time.
